Challenge 544: Jennifer in Paradise

This week marks Photoshop's 25th birthday. To celebrate its first quarter century, we can do little better than take inspiration from Jennifer in Paradise, the first-ever Photoshopped image. It shows Jennifer, Thomas Knoll's girlfriend at the time, on the beach at Bora Bora. Jennifer, now Mrs Thomas Knoll, recalls that he proposed to her later that day.

All I want you to do is to create an image inspired by this iconic preview of the deluge of photomontage that was to follow.

Steve, as you know, I'm a stickler for adhering to the weekly subject in hand, and do not want to post something that is completely irrelevant; therefore, exactly what do you mean? Do we have to use the image given, or can we do what the hell we like? Can you further clarify?

But this week, do what the hell you like, using this image as your inspiration.

25 years later … This version includes three photos. I took the sea and the island in Italy. The bathing person is, of course, Jennifer.

I seem to have gone in a totally different direction this week. An image inspired by.... So I got the inspiration to finish an image I started in 2008 for a Friday Challenge.
And many thanks to the Knoll brothers.
