Challenge 793: Valentine's Day
It's Valentine's Day, and my wife Carol has gone skiing for the weekend. Here I am a few weeks ago at Viktor Wynd's Museum of Curiosities in London. Can you supply me with a more romantic dinner companion? And perhaps some dinner to go with it?

High res is here.

Steve likes museums. This one is about as weird as they get.

Here's a link you might like, Steve: https://secretldn.com/fab-free-museums-london/

Steve's Valentine date is ruined by an unwanted photo bomber!

Unless, of course, it's just a wynd up.

Greetings everybody. Ships are quiet tonight so I thought i'd contribute towards Steve's quiet time and give him something to do. Pink panther stole Valentine's day.

This place looks absolutely amazing! Why didn't I know about this place 2 years ago? I think I could spend at least a day here, if not longer.

I hadn't discovered it when you were here two years ago! Or I'd certainly have taken you there. I only stumbled upon it last November, since when it's become my favourite place in London.

Apart from the truly bizarre museum downstairs - everything from two-headed cats to 19th century pornography to a gold-plated rhinoceros skull - there's a cocktail bar upstairs that specialises in absinthe. I had a drink there with my son, Joe, and he asked the waiter if they had any interesting snacks to go with their curious cocktail menu. He thought for a moment before replying: "Well, we have chocolate anuses." And so he did.

Not quite a free pass but certainly an advantage over the horrors of McDonalds.

Does it occur to you wonder why white chocolate?
