Challenge 815: Brahms and Liszt
Silly title for this week's Challenge, but I couldn't think what else to call a legless piano. How would you hold it up? A choice of angles here and here. |

Thanks Steve, will try and do the reflections myself now!! One query, I put a stroke on the text but when it went into vanishing point on the sign the stroke disappeared?? Any ideas?? My thanks to GKB for his advice on animation, much appreciated!! |

Please don't tell me that you chose this image just so you could play elaborate word games ......... ................ rather clever word games mind you! Although I suspect rhyming slang is likely to be opaque to our transatlantic competitors. They have their own version in Oz but I don't know about NZ. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

David, I laughed when I saw this but then I noticed something that I'm sure you'll get dinged for with that shiny floor: Reflections. Just wanted to give you the hint while you had plenty of time to correct it. _________________ I'm still learning. |

Oh hell. You are quite right. I created reflections for the curtains but not our heroes! Truth is my heart wasn't really in this one. I'll fix it tomorrow. Mrs Mac is calling for her evening aperitif! _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: Challenge 815: Brahms and Liszt
Best place to get thoroughly Brahms and Liszt is a Piano Bar! This one was much more fun. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: Challenge 815: Brahms and Liszt
My first rather boring and feeble attempt re-published with alterations as suggested by Sara. Thank you Sara. Lost for anything more entertaining to do, it is supported by Brahms and Liszt quite literally. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Not quite off topic ........ but drifting ........
During my picture research I came across what I presume is an LP or CD cover design. It occurred to me that it offered vaguely relevant possibilities ........ You will probably need to click to enlarge to see properly. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Brahms and Liszt Curieaux
Seems that mad Curieaux artist is at it again ............. Ok, after a very dull start, finally got my teeth into this one. Really enjoyed this! Thank you Steve for all the splendid material. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
