Challenge 885: In the pink
I was walking through the streets of Covent Garden on a cold winter's evening last weekend when I came across this fantasy in pink.

Surely a car of this exuberance deserves a more appropriate setting than a chilly London street?

High res is here.

Re: Challenge 885: In the pink
For the non Brits, Dame Mary Barbara Cartland (1901 – 2000) was an English writer, best known as a prolific publisher of both contemporary and historical romance novels, the latter set primarily during the Victorian or Edwardian period.

Cartland is one of the best-selling authors, worldwide, of the 20th century. Her novels were largely of the trembling virgin and handsome gentlemen ilk and her website bears the opening "A historical romance is the only kind of book where chastity really counts.".

She was equally well know for her love of small fluffy dogs and anything and everything pink!

Some great early entries. Hope I find time to add one this week.

Re: Challenge 885: In the pink
These three have been a lot of fun to do, but not really up to my usual standard.

For some reason the car made me think of Christmas, I know, I know, a bit early.

Thanks Frank, I was fortunate in stumbling upon this great image, I only added the car and snow.
