Challenge 907: Steampunk on wheels
I'm indebted to DavidMac for this week's Challenge, featuring a couple of entertainingly-attired ladies who seem to have lost their mode of transport.

Can you help them out?

High res is here.

I came upon these two quite by chance in the grounds of the European parliament no less!

When they saw me taking pictures they started circling me and teasing right up close!

I suppose it's appropriate that I am first off the blocks. Nasty extraction, for which my apologies to you all.

Thought it could be a cool CD cover.

Love the forced perspective Michael!

Dennis, in terms of clever use and adaptation of the original image that gets my vote. That's a great job of re-modelling the pose.

Re: Challenge 907: Steampunk on wheels
I am really not sure whether I should be commenting on everyone, but every time I have submitted a challenge image I try to imagine what you might do with it and am unfailingly surprised. So I shall continue to remark briefly.

Both these last two images have taken a very simple approach which works beautifully.

I find the helmeted girl fits particularly well in Ant's flyers - her head pose suits this perfectly.

Frank has surprised me completely! I never expected someone to do an 'in place' entry and it really works! Not only clever, but avoided a rather nasty extraction on the right hand girl.

Re: Challenge 907: Steampunk on wheels
Thank you David, however I must inform you I did the extractions and thinking about a background decided to place them back in the original scene for something different. The girl on the right was tricky but if you look real close you will see I painted some of her hair back in when i extracted her as well as that orange thingie on her shoulder.
Agree, I am often tempted to comment on all entries and sometimes do - most weeks have some well thought out and unique very well done entries.

Well you can write it down to practice and experience. I have to confess that the extraction was one aspect of my own challenge I did not enjoy!
