Challenge 963: Youthful regeneration
I went to the movies to see Indiana Jones and the Zimmer Frame of Destiny last night, and was really intrigued to see how successfully Harrison Ford had been de-aged by 25 years for the early scenes.

All done with that clever AI stuff, of course, but how well could this be achieved manually? And what more hijinks could a young Ford get up to?

So that we're all on the same page, I request that you use the image below, which you can download at high res from Wikipedia here. Although if you particularly want a different angle on him, then I'll allow any of the shots on this page.

I’m sure you can fix that.

Re: Challenge 963: Youthful regeneration
Interesting attempts so far. Hard to do. Somehow he looked more haggard and rugged when he was younger than he does now. But the temptation is to smooth him out.

This is so not my thing that I was going to pass but then I spotted the bit that said “…….. and what more hijinks could a young Ford get up to?”. That did sound fun.

I shall 'fess up right away that I used the neural filters for the unsuccessful ageing plus a bit of hand work. Truth is this part of challenge didn't interest me so I cheated ……. not that it worked very well anyway.

But the rest was fun!!

We were thinking along the same lines, David.
This challenge was the perfect opportunity to use the neural filters, but Harrison Ford doesn't need them - he is handsome at any age.

That is really nice Anna. What I find interesting is that you have created a real poster style whereas mine is just a frame from the movie with a title superimposed on it.

Gordon, Ben, Loyd, and Anna excellent work.

A very, very young Harrison Ford using the original image supplied.

I think this is by far and away the best so far Josephine. You have managed not to erase the rugged 'lived in' look he had, even when much younger.

That's really excellent Mariner. Like Josephine, you've managed not to smooth him out.

Gordon that's great. I love the movie, although in the still here he looks a bit like a baby Paul Newman!
