Challenge 967: The embalmer surgeon
Last weekend I spent an enjoyable day at the Suffolk Military Show, where I came face to face with a vast array of military reconstructions from all periods of history. In the American Civil War area I came across this "embalmer surgeon", who was happy to demonstrate his surgical skills for me. He has a fine array of tools and accessories, but the setting is too English and the patient looks way past the point of being revived. Can you add some realism to this scene? High res is here. ___________ NOTE: I'm off on my annual trip to France this afternoon, and won't be around for a couple of weeks. You'll need to make this one last! |

For those not keeping up with changes in the UK government this is our Health Secretary Steve Barclay trying his hand at DIY surgery "The operation was a total success - unfortunately the patient died" We are still waiting for our 40 new hospitals _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

On the ball as usual Jo. Really nice Loyd. Tried to reply to your comments on hand ambulance Steve but there is a message at the bottom of the screen saying ‘Closed topic you cannot reply here.’ and no dialogue box. I can’t recall ever having seen this be fore. Anyway your comment is very subtle but spot on. Have a good time in your new ‘mini home’ in France. I presume that is where you are going. Furnishing time now? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Funny, Josephine, your politicians and ours must read from the same book. Mighty fine entry Lloyd. Fed on moose meat. Nice 1 Ant. Love the re coloring Frank. Takes that brilliance off the original photo. _________________ The grass is greener on the other side of the fence because there is more $hit there. |

It works well as a western type image, Loyd. Swapping his hat makes all the difference. Well done, Frank. The added tents are convincing http://vimeo.com/853914297 _________________ Dorothy: Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore |

Loyd: banners generally don't attract much praise. Your fishy banner this week is very good, as is the rest of your work. |

Michael- Thank you, it's been quite some time since I last made a banner. I probably should though, they are great for something to do... |

Re: Challenge 977: The embalmer surgeon
Nice video Anna. I'm sure I'm going to draw criticism with my Daz model of Genesis. Not easy to make a 6th generation old model look convincing but I tried. It was the only model that I had time sensitive fashion for. The image is really small. I had to reduce it to enable me to get it small enough to post. _________________ The grass is greener on the other side of the fence because there is more $hit there. |

Dennis, we have all suffered from this problem at one time or another. You can avoid it by loading your image onto another web site and downloading a link to it for HTCIPS to follow. I use flickr.com and I have posted a detailed tutorial on Readers Tutorials called How to Store your Images... here Why don't you give it a try? |
