Challenge 1056: The Egyptian jail
On a recent trip to Egypt I visited the Temple of Luxor at night, an excursion I can highly recommend. The exit from the complex is via this curious guarded gate, which to my eye looks more like a prison than a departure gate.

But who would be incarcerated here? And how hard would it be to shut that gate?

High res is here.

The question is, should it be closed?

Good one Ben. Karoline Leavitt - I love her and I hate her. She is as sharp as a tack, never misses a trick and is good looking with it. What an amazingly glib liar she is! I am repulsed and fascinated by her, both at the same time. It must be love.

Luxor = glorious and astonishing place. Should any of you ever visit, take the walk from the Valley of the Kings up the hillside and along the ridge that looks down on Hathshepsut. It's not easy to find the entrance to the trail but it's well worth it. Tell your taxi driver to meet you at Hathshepsut.

Negative Tourism

Hopefully the real thing will never get this bad.

Truth to tell I got completely lost for ideas with this one. My heart isn't really in it. This is a "not to be left out" entry.

Great entries so far.

I wasn't sure where this one was going when I started but I think it's worked out ok.

For disclosure, I used Generative Fill for the left side of the door and wall.

I've made four so far and for some reason they each have a movie theme. This one with characters from one of the Mummy movies.

Got these characters from a search for prisoners. It was a made for TV movie, I've never seen it and know little about it, but the image worked fairly well.
