Thank you for that Trevor. It's nice to be able to see what is keeping me here in Sweden. At work today someone told me that their brother-in-law is stuck in Singapore and the earliest available flight out is on 6 May.

Someone else's husband claims to be 'stranded' in the South of France with his golf clubs!

Interesting. That link is now showing two of the moons of Saturn.

What route were you planning to take back from Sweden, Gordon?

Oops, I've fixed it now above. (Should have referenced archived version viz http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap100419.html )

Well Gordon might indeed be heading that way judging by previous work. At least there is no ash around Saturn(?), but flying through those ice partical rings would make a mess!

Hi Steve,

If you check the bottom of that page you will find a link called 'Archive' which connects you to all the images over the past few months. There have been some really beautiful images over the years. The image is updated daily. It was good to re-find that site as I used to check in regularly but haven't done so for a while now.

I've missed two weekends (including a particularly good party!!) back home because of the eruption. I'm due to finish in Sweden next Friday (30th April). I hope that people will have stopped running around like headless chickens by then and I can fly back from Copenhagen as planned. Failing that it's looking like a one way car hire from Copenhagen to Brussels and catch the Eurostar or else its going to be train to Esbjerg and catch the overnight ferry to Harwich. Either way I'm looking at a 24 hour + journey

One thing is certain, though. I'll be downloading that Friday's Challenge image before I set off so I have something fun to do to pass the time.
