Lytro light field camera
Have a look at this camera which employs novel light field technology to enable the user to change the point of focus in a photograph after it has been taken. We spoke about it today after the Ludshott Camera Club event but thought it was called Lumos or some such name. http://www.lytro.com/ |

It looks great to me. Do you have experience with it? I just looking for a small camera which I can bring with me everyday and it looks as solution for me. It is really small and can be good for shotting unexpected situation, from any angles. This one could be a really nice toy. _________________ I have the true feeling of myself only when I am unbearably unhappy. - Franz Kafka |

That's the name - Lytro. Yes, it does look very interesting. But at a resolution of just 1024 x 1024 pixels, I don't think many serious photographers are going to bite... so far, it's little more than a proof of concept. But what a great concept! |
