New commercial stock site.
Just seen a link to a new (not yet live) stock site, http://www.imagevortex.com. They are taking submissions already, you get to price your photos and will receive 70% of the cost if it's sold. Interesting. But I think their policy of allowing photographers to price their own pictures may prove awkward. Browsing around, I came across a stunning interior shot, selling for $29.95 (high res), and a black and white shot of a drunk on a bench selling for $200. There seems to be no rationale behind the pricing, other than the self confidence of the photographer. So I'm sure the site will attract sellers - just not sure about buyers! |

I signed up, uploaded 4 images and they were all rejected. One of them is my top seller on iStock (For sale signs). Apparently, they weren't what they are looking for.. *shrug* _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |
