What some pretty neat but some also very strange statues!! I can't believe how graphic some of them are. _________________ Pauline |

Yes, sorry. I should have put a warning up! _________________ If you hold on to the past, sooner or later you'll lose your grip. |

I could handle it, I'm just surprised that some of these statues are out in public places! (unless they've been moved in ps). I was thinking of my kids and that there were some I wouldn't be happy with them seeing. _________________ Pauline |

Re: Some more weirdness to pass the time
The first couple at Vigelands Park (also known as Frogner Park) Oslo, are just a couple of many similar statues in the park (probably close on to 100 in total) - all are of naked people, plus a giant monolith carved from stone that is made up of 121 naked bodies stacked ontop of each other. This is one of Oslo's great Tourist Attractions. We were there in August and spent an afternoon photographing the statues. The subject matter is not to everyone's taste though. BB |
