So are you suggesting that I encode these secret recipes in my illustrations, then readers type the numbers one by one into the website to decode the message? I don't know any readers with so much patience! |

no of course this is not what i am suggesting. but if a word would be hidden in an illustration in binary code, i can imagine it would raise a smile or two on the tube. believe me there are enough nerds riding the tube who don´t need the assistance of a website to decipher some number combinations. it could be used for a draw. observer is newly designed on weekend. steve c. (10th feb. you were quoted last i think) who does illustrations for us for the last xyz-years hid a word, phrase, insult somewhere on the cover of the weekend-magazine. what is it? win a truckride through sussex... It just came to my mind because print editions of papers tend to moan about declining circulation of their publications. brits like crooswords and all other type of quests. the guardian is no tabloid which implies readers are educated. after all it would be more consistant to an illustration if rows of numbers made sense than if they did not. it involves no additional costs or effort. there were draws in a german sunday paper that asked for search terms on google to get to a certain web-page, allowing only two terms for the page to turn up top of the results. there is another way to treat my post which here is abbreviated ggg for gesehen, gelacht, gelöscht (seen, laughed about, deleted). _________________ Was auch immer geschieht: Nie dürft ihr so tief sinken, von dem Kakao, durch den man euch zieht, auch noch zu trinken!
