Blurb Photo Books
We know that there are many different ways of uploading photographs to produce one's own book but I have been laying out a book of my African trip using this particular software. It is quite intuitive to use and, if you have Indesign CS3 or later (CS2 for me !  ) you can create your book directly within Indesign using the plug in. If, like me, you don't have this capability then you can download their "Booksmart" software which does pretty much the same thing.
