Steve , did you ever heard about this software ? In my sincere oppinion, it's not so easy as they claim, but anyway it would result in a huge depreciation of the montage work , and in the retouchers' skill !  take a look :http://akvis.com/en/chameleon/index.php |

As with most Akvis software, the examples are impressive until you read how they're created. The selection process includes a process similar to the Extract tool that has now been dropped from Photoshop. There appears to be some colour blending going on, but frankly that seems to be about it. I think retouchers' jobs are safe for the time being! |

Thanks for the reply, Steve. Funny about the extract tool, I tried using it a few times, but never found it very interesting as well as the software Fluid Mask! I'm so used to using Pen Tool that I can't realize about anything else when it comes to making a cutout ! Along with the Refine Edge, it's a breeze !  |

These days, I use the Quick Selection tool more and more. It depends very much on the background, of course, but it's really worth a try - it can produce great results with ease. |
