Help required with colour change - Test 2 , Test Yourself 1
Out of the 9 tests, the colour change in test 2 is proving to be the most difficult for me. I could create a new layer and manually select the sweater, but that would defeat the benefit of the colour change tool. I've tried both the Replace Colour dialog with various tolerances and also the Colour Replacement Tool but always get leakage into the surrounding areas. Any tips on how to do this quickly and easily without having to resort to manual selection? |

I find using a lower tolerance helps,.when working near edge, use the middle of the little colour droppers, 'sampling once' . Use the history brush afterwards on anything that does bleed, . Remember to set your history restore points before you start. |

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like there's more of an art to colour replacement than I inititially thought. Brian |
