Sepia & other tones
You may all know this one, but I found it in a book. It was "invented" by one of the Adobe team, and you can convert a colour picture to almost any tone you want.
1 Open the file.

2 Open an adjustment layer. From the list offered choose Hue & Saturation. Move the Saturation slider all the way to the left.
The picture goes "greyscale" Click OK

3 Start a new adjustment layer and choose Hue & Saturation again But this time click on the colouriser button.
The pcture turns red.

Now slide the hue slider very slightly to the right, and the picture turns sepia of any shade you want. Moving the slider further to the right gives a range of colours and the saturation slider also has an effect.

Hope this is of use.

I can't see the point of option No. 2.

When you click on "Colorize" in the hue/saturation box, it takes away the original colour anyway.

Hi Paul,
Sorry for the delay. You are right, it seems to make little difference, but this is "as was" in the book. I included it in case I was missing something.
Regards
