Separated Windows
Here's how I separated windows to manipulate each one individually. ![]() Make two layers - every other column - fill with contrasting colors. ![]() Do the same with the rows. ![]() Select the Even Columns (hold CTRL key and click on thumbnail). ![]() Subtract the Light Rows (hold CTRL+ALT keys and click on thumbnail). ![]() Make a new layer called DkEven. ![]() Even Columns minus Dark Rows becomes LtEven. ![]() Odd Columns minus Light Rows becomes DkOdd. ![]() Odd Columns minus Dark Rows becomes LtOdd. All the windows are available and separated, ready to be manipulated. _________________ The journey of a thousand hours begins with a single layer. |

Re: Separated Windows
Thanks very much Brewell, very helpful. I might have a go since I didn't get a chance at last week's challenge. |
