Adjustments Layer Mask by Default
When you add an Adjustments Layer Photoshop automatic adds a Layer Mask, whether you'll use it or not. I find this not boosting a neatly organized appearance of the Layers Palette. I'll rather add a Layer Mask only just when I need it. You can stop this standard behavior in the options of the Adjustments Palette by removing the check mark in front of 'Add Mask by Default'. ![]() |

Yes, you can disable the mask as you said here. But why would you want to? It's a very useful feature. |
