Question - chapter 3
Hi, I'm new here, and first just wanted to say what a great book this is. I'm really enjoying reading and working through it. Now, to my question. I'm working on section 03.03 (line art simplified) and when I get to step 5, it says to make a copy of the photo and desturate (no problem there) and then use the Poster Edges filter to make a monochromatic image. No matter how I use the sliders, I can't get anything near the image in the book. It's mostly grey, in fact. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Steve |

Steve, Well spotted! You're absolutely right, that's a mistake (and the first one to have been picked up so far, as far as I can tell). You should use Filter > Sketch > Stamp, of course. Many thanks for bringing this to my attention. Glad you're enjoying the book, apart from that! Steve |

Ah, many thanks! That works just fine now. I thought it was me, glad to know it wasn't. Thanks again for the very quick reply. Steve |
