Hi ... Please let me know what font is used in the example and what font size is used in the example? I tried few fonts and it looked pixelated when I tried.

The font here was plain old Times Bold, as far as I can remember... nothing fancy! As for the size, this entirely depends on what size you want it to be. I've never liked being too prescriptive about font sizes, filter settings and so on - it's better you just do what looks right to you, rather than simply following settings.

As for the pixellation issue, there's a response here.

01.08 Hi, I have having trouble with this tutorial. When I try and paint out the letter R, the layer mask seems to have a stroke on it.

I think I figured it out. I lower the font size to 60 pt and that seemed to fix the issue!
