johannes gutenberg
today the statue of johannes gutenberg returned to its pedestal in mainz, after quite some time that it was off for mending. since we would possibly exchange on a forum like this some time later if he didn´t have the idea to use movable letters for print i thought it appropriate to post what was displayed before my eyes. photoshop was a pplied as a darkroom substitute.

Congratulations! Not sure what you mean by 'didn't get smarter for it'. Are you saying that they didn't give you a credit as photographer? Or pay you? Please yell me that this is not true! That a major German Sunday can use a photo (almost 1/4 page) on the front page of a broadsheet and not credit pr pay the photographer!!!  _________________ Mark Goodwin If you do what you have always done, you'll get what you've always got! |

Excellent result Redsnapper! I was going to suggest your image could have value €, even if difficult to move the camera at present. Difficult to read the text from the low res .jpg, both links. |

Fantastic - many congratulations on the publication. You must be delighted. That's quite an achievement. I recommend you ask the paper for a PDF of the cover, so you have a clean version for your records. |
