Re: Butterfly 蝴蝶
I took this picture at The Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio where I was shooting for a Chihuly glass exhibit. This was one of my favorite butterfly pics . . . |

Re: Butterfly 蝴蝶
Love all the butterflies and great quality Thanks comment Carlo. I like moths too, but a bit more difficult to photograph and I guess not as eloquent, ephemerat for some, but interesting all the same, Trevor |

Great image Vibeke. I also saw your contributed images, including butterflies on Steve's CS5 HTCIPS DVD. Great! All the other guys too. |

Re: Butterfly 蝴蝶
I feel like an idiot. This beautiful butterfly suddenly landed on my window. Rushed. Took a few beautiful shots, but forgot the CF card. Changed now so it will not shoot without it. Worse I knew this option. |

Re: Butterfly 蝴蝶
Sorry this an old pianting. Not by me but from someone I met in China in 1990 Chendu Sizhuan. He painted it for me, as sponsor that time. The detail is amazing. Painted on silk with maybe not the best paint. I can translate some of the Chinese, but will save you from that. Main point it is, Spring, March in a garden. I'll give some closeups if that is okay. |

Re: Butterfly 蝴蝶
I know the feeling, My camera is always set on not working without a CF card, however that is no help when you go somewhere, and have forgotten to put the card in. I now carry a spare in my handbag. Lovely painting, some people are so talented. Vibeke _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |
