Escher Art Exhibition
Hi all,
yesterday I went to the Escher art exhibition of Udine.
I like a lot his optical illusions.
Here are some of the photos I took: http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/8409/escherudine.jpg (you can zoom on it).
Look at this image (http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/9494/bild104.gif), we can do it in a few seconds in Photoshop, using the filter distort. I can’t believe he done it using a pencil. I’m very impressed. Amazing.

Yes, indeed - amazing work. To call him a genius isn't nearly enough.

I hadn't seen the distorted image before, but do you think you could do this just with the Spherize filter? Really? Look at how the distorted image blends into the rest of the building - even Photoshop couldn't do that!

How about using the Liquify > Bloat tool, Steve?
