Illustrator & Photoshop
I decided it was time for me to start learning how to use Illustrator better. I had a class in art school, unfortunately the professor found out that this was his last semester teaching there, and he really didn't care about teaching the class. Here is my first attempt in using Illustrator and Photoshop together. If anyone knows some good books or websites with Illustrator tutorials I will greatly appreciate links, and titles. Thanks ![]() ![]() |

Re: Illustrator & Photoshop
Nice work. Was the Illustrator component here just drawing the outline? I like the texture you've achieved here, and the shininess... very good! Illustrator is a very different kind of program to Photoshop, as you'll have discovered. It's really better for technical illustration and graphic design, although its purely illustrative capabilities are good. But whereas in Photoshop what you see is what you get, in Illustrator there's a lot of work to be done behind the scenes, as it were. I started work on a How to Cheat in Illustrator titles, but it never really got anywhere... one of these days I might try to resurrect it. |

Re: Illustrator & Photoshop
Illustrator is a very different beast. Just the outline/skeleton work was done in illustrator, then brought into Photoshop as smart objects so it is editable. If you do finish on the HTCiNI I know I would defiantly purchase one |
