Lockdown Entertainment
I can only stand so much television, and for something to do during the lockdown, I joined a couple of local facebook photography groups.

Over the past three months I have shot several thousand images. Since I am a non-active participant in this weeks challenge, I decided to post a few representative snaps to show what I've been up to.

All shots are from my backyard. in Oklahoma, USA.

Re: Lockdown Entertainment
Hey Loyd those are excellent images. I showed them to my wife, who is a birdwatcher, and she was most impressed with them.

Re: Lockdown Entertainment
Thanks Gordon, I'm very glad she liked them. Here are a few more for fun, note that the Blue Jay has two peanuts... greedy beggar.

Re: Lockdown Entertainment
Very beautiful Loyd, and the images are incredibly sharp, so what kind of equipment are you using?

Are we going to be treated to more brilliant images? Try to limit yourself to no more than a hundred photos.

Re: Lockdown Entertainment
Thank you Michael. I left out shots of sparrows, crows, wrens, etc. so as to not post too many images.

These were shot with a Canon EOS RP camera and EF 70-300 f-4/5.6 L lens.

Wonderful!

In the middle of town my equivalent, if I could even get started, would have to be deformed diseased urban pigeons .......... not very seductive .............

Re: Lockdown Entertainment
Great images Loyd - sharp and well composed. I used to do the same and it was great fun and entertainment watching some of their antics.

Glorious, Loyd. You've captured some splendid moments there. What's the bright red bird?

Thank you, David, Frank and Steve...

Steve, it is a male Cardinal, likely trying to attract a girlfriend.
