Any of you Mac users using Tahoe yet?
Curious to know what you think of the new Tahoe?

Not using it as my iMAC can’t upgrade to it.

I used to swear by Apple products but, these days, I swear AT them. The reason? The built in obsolescence which means that one is constantly having to upgrade everything … or buy new hardware which leads to having to buy new software.

Just about to buy a new PC but it will be Windows based, not Apple.

Sorry about the grumbles

Haven’t taken the plunge yet. I don’t like what the latest iOS has done to my iPad.

Yes and Tahoe seems to be moving Mac OS closer to IOS which I detest anyway. In some ways the enhanced iPhone mirroring sounds interesting but opening the current iPhone mirror app in Sequoia returns a message "iPhone Mirroring is not available in your country or region". It seems reasonable to suppose that that will apply to any new extended version in Tahoe.

I have read up on Tahoe a lot and reviews are very polarised, either love or hate. All upgrades have their detractors but I can't remember when I last saw quite so many.

I am definitely going to sit on this one for now as, even ignoring negative reactions, the list of changes and new features reads a bit like all the 'improvements' I never needed.

I really don't want to appear pessimistic but, somehow, this upgrade simply doesn't sound terribly relevant to my needs and way of working.

If any of you want to persuade me otherwise I would love to hear a first hand perspective.

Good luck with that! I have a virtual PC on my mac but never use it except when utterly unavoidable. I find Windows completely impenetrable.

But I guess that's just old dogs and new tricks ..........
