HORRIBLE LIQUID GLASS
HORRIBLE LIQUID GLASS I’ve posted about this already but here goes again …………. I just allowed my iPad to update. To, among other things, the new liquid glass interface. The result, in my case, is reduced legibility and eyestrain. The use of my iPad has become tiring. I’ve read all the articles about how to reduce this (there are plenty, because there have been plenty of complaints) and I have gone through all the recommended transparency and contrast settings. The result is still a much less easily readable interface. I only use my pad for recreation, all serious work is done on the desktop Studio Max. I am absolutely horrified by the prospect of Tahoe which has the same liquid glass interface. I have not upgraded and don’t at present intend to until there is no choice. I have, however, read that the effect can be minimised on Tahoe much more effectively than on on IOS. Does anyone have both installed who can make a direct comparison? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: HORRIBLE LIQUID GLASS
Hi David. Only on my iPad and that’s because there’s effectively no choice. I am certainly no fan of this ‘update’. My iiMAC doesn’t support any further updates and is scheduled for replacement sometime in the not-too-distant future. I will not be buying another MAC and have already installed a nice big shiny PC which is already up and running. There was a time when I swore by Apple products but these days I swear AT them. Bye bye Apple. _________________ Why is it that all the contestants in the ‘Miss Universe’ contest are all from Earth? |

Increased security make the new OS's very frustrating at times. I accept that. What gets up my nose is that this new style of interface isn't optional in settings. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
