Retouch Pro: 100% Photoshop
To coincide with the forthcoming launch of my new book, I'm doing a webinar this Wednesday, March 3, on Retouch Pro. I'll be creating an illustration from scratch, entirely in Photoshop.

Details here:

Should be an interesting session - I've never done a live show quite like this before, so wish me luck with it!

I'm sure you'll breeze through it Steve, really looking forward to this one. Any clue as to what you will be illustrating or are you keeping it a secret 'till the night. Anyway, it's all good practice for when the inevitable (everything crossed) Steve Caplin HOTCHIPS Tutorial Dvd's come out (Nudge Nudge Wink Wink).

I'll be watching if it's raining, otherwise I'll be looking forward to the re-run.

Post a photo of where you are, I can always add the rain afterwards!

Unfortunately, I have a meeting to attend at the same time as the broadcast - so I will look forward to the re-run.

Also looking forward to the DVD - Can always hope it will be sooner than later!

What a pity! The one night this week I can't make. Will have to hope for a re-run.

Good luck Steve and please ask Doug to repeat it.

I will be there! Glued to the monitor trying to watch every move and take notes at the same time!

What's this about a DVD???

I am on bussiness trip, this will be first time I will watch it out of my home. Steve, I am looking forward as usually.

I know nothing about a DVD!

Except, of course, should a well-known software company happen to produce an upgrade to one of their image editing products, and I happened to be writing a book about it, then it's possible that the book might include a DVD of video techniques.

You'll understand there's not a lot I can say about this...

Sorry, it's a stunning beautiful day here, no clouds or wind, so Tennis wins. But only because I know they will do a resend, and the fact that I have a competiton going with my daughter in Singapore on getting fit.
Yes I know she is a lot younger than me, but she also works very long hours and spends a lot of time on planes.
Good luck for today and I look forward to the book.

Well, thank you! It was a very tricky one - I'd never done a show where everything was created from scratch before. The wood texture wasn't great, but all the other stuff worked out OK.

Still, good practice for the 100% Photoshop launch!

Steve,

It was very nice show. The wood looked fine. What was the best part? I am sure the watch building and the fire of the candle.

I will have to learn a lot of things to make them as easy as you showed.

I am looking forward for next show.

Thanks, Emil! Glad you enjoyed it. The watch is certainly fun to build - and the good thing about it is, it really isn't at all difficult.
