1st attempt, Sam Spud
I couldn't get the aged wood quite right, so I stuck with new.

I'm amazed at how it turned out, I've never tried anything like this before and i didn't realize Photoshop was capable of so much.

It's a lot of work but easy enough with Steve's nice clear instructions.

And I've just noticed I missed some shading on the door panel mouldings, and the light needs some work.

Why is it you never notice these things before uploading ?

That's looking fantastic. I like the way you've done the door mouldings in a different colour, it makes them stand out well.

Don't forget the shadow to the right of the light switch and its cable, though. It looks rather like it's floating without it.

It is amazing what you can do with just Photoshop, isn't it!

Thanks Steve, the shadow was there, I must have turned the layer off when i saved for web.
I intended to do just the door last night but ended working on it for 5 hours.
It's very addictive once you see it taking shape.
