Backtracking: Metallic Ring
OK--Soon after I started on the book I went to Thailand for a couple of weeks. Now I'm starting over (Thailand was great, btw!). With the metallic ring (after making the ball) I'm running into a problem I can't seem to fix. After the first few steps I make the ring, but when I attempt Step 6 (press Control and A to Select All then use Arrow keys to nudge the duplicate ring upwards) it doesn't make the copy as it should. The thing that's killing me is I did this successfully before Thailand! Argh! I'm on a MacBook Pro--anyone have a tip?  |
