In The Attic
Wow - this one took a while! There were many occasions when I wanted to beg for help - but kept at it and eventually things worked out!

Not perfect - some things sorely need help - but all-in-all I'm pretty satisfied.

Any/all comments/critiques more than welcomed.

Whew - I'm exhausted. Steve, you certainly know how to challenge us (and I, for one, really really appreciate that!

Joey
ps - has everyone else finished this project? Am I the last?

Re: In The Attic
Joey,

Hardly anyone has attempted the entire attic scene - there's just so much to do in it. You've produced a fantastic result! Many congratulations.

I really like the extras you've added in here, such as the coat hangers on the wall, the Life collection, and the mousetrap... and is that a canart in the bird cage?

Excellent work!

Steve

Re: In The Attic
Great work Joey,

Phew! I can imagine it would take time and resolve to complete, especially with the additional items, which think is the right creative direction when possible. Glad you preserved and enjoyed the challenge. You make me feel guilt for not executing something similar. An inspiration and a challenge

It would be nice to see a larger version to even further appreciate the details. Of course for that you need to put on another website and provide us with a link to it e.g. like Anna, others and I sometimes do.

Looking forward to more

I only have some further minor possible(?) critique at the moment. Need to study details more......

Good morning , guys. It's just barely the 14th (2:30 am) here in northern California, USA.

Thanx for responding........yep, Steve, that's a canary; a plastic one with a broken wing. Did it with the pen tool!!! Never would've attempted to before 100% PS.....can't thank you enough.

Looking forward to any additional comments you have, Trevor.
Unfortunately I don't have a web site, but I'll see if I can make the image a bit bigger.

Re: In The Attic
Try making the image about 900 pixels wide, then use File > Save for Web to bring the size down. SHould help!

Yes! And if you right click the image it opens in a slightly bigger window. Joey

Re: In The Attic
Excellent work!!

I'm still looking at all the detail you put into this image.

I still haven't done this chapter yet, but I have done some of the objects, like the guitar, record, brick wall, cardboard box. The one object that I put a lot of work into creating is the guitar. When I saw this chapter, the first thing that got my attention was the guitar. I've always wanted to create a guitar.

Re: In The Attic
Firstly, with the larger size I am even more impressed! I will give critique questions later now see detail. They are positive, for example, on that glass globe with reflection, refraction and cast shadows and focused light on the wall. Second for now, the lace purple vail falling out of the draw...... looks great...

Like Luis, I'm still looking too....

Concerning image sizing stuff. I think I mentioned PhotoBucket before. I wanted to test it again. Free first 20Mb. I tested it again with FC entry today. Image about 600kb. See my image of a gorilla on back of a motor bike. Okay the image is not great, but I was in creative mode and thought I was working for 97kb size. If you click on the image you get a very big image all 650Kb.

Of course 20Mb is not enough, many other free sites for images, but always small images as mostly orientated to social image sharing.
