Except for a few glitches, this project was much easier than I thought it would be! I had a lot of fun doing the alien. Thanx Steve, for a great book and greater projects.

Fantastic! That's a really impressive image - you seem to have got all the techniques down perfectly.

Glad you're enjoying this book. The thing about this particular chapter is it's not so much that we want to create this kind of device, but that we learn so much about Photoshop techniques along the way.

I like your alien figure!

Thank you! Absolutely........I'm learning sooo much - I'm finally getting a glimpse of PS's potential!

I hated covering up the wonderful diamond-filled base layer......I'll have to come up with another way to utilize it!

Now on to a landscape!

The Landscape one seems a different kettle-of-fish(?). Interesting to see how you handle that as well!
