3D Log Cabin
Steve , this one took a few attempts to build as the file got so big it wouldn't let me reopen it, it kept telling me too close some windows as the file was too large but that's hard to do when it won't let you open it in the first place. Nevertheless I plowed along attempting to use minimal layers and textures (turning off all unrequired textures) , Saving Often, and in pieces just in case. The cabin is truly 3d and I added a background.  |

That is really great Frank. I am very impressed, I think you have really pushed 3D photoshop further than was ever intended. |

Magnificent! And I agree, you're really pushing the boundaries here. Just an idea: if your files are getting too big, try making the layers in a different way. For instance, the log walls could be made from a single outline, rather than multiple layers built like a real log cabin. |

Thanks Deborah and Steve --- Steve , that's what I did , at first I made individual logs and realizing how large this was getting made the logs from stacked circles extruded. I'm not sure if the problem I had was a Photoshop problem or a windows problem as it messaged me to close some windows but wouldn't let me open the file. Oh well on with 3d painting . |
