Re: Easter
Very interesting work. I like the way you've made the whip in the background, and that glass of water is artfully positioned to make the refractions.

Good to see you back, Emil. Photoshop's 3D functionality really is rather good, isn't it.

Re: Easter
Thank you Steve,
I am really surprised how it works, the reflections, refractions etc. Really powerful tool. Hardest thing for me was to get objects in right position. I use the CS6 and there is not the duplicate object feature within 3D scene (CC version is on my wish list :-)).

Re: Easter
Yes, that is irritating about the CS6 version. You should try keeping copies of all the original layers before you merge them, then you can just duplicate the layer and merge it down when you need an extra egg.

Re: Easter
Beautifully crafted Emil. What is the significance of the whip by the way?

Re: Easter
Very nice work Emil - yes placing those objects can be quite tricky.

Re: Easter
Thank you Vern and Frank,

The significance of whip in my country is a celebration of new spring. Boys are allowed to symbolical "transfer" the whip characteristics (it is made of young spring birch) such as flexibility, freshness -green, fertility etc. The symbolically "whipped" girls give boys eggs for that.

Here is typical picture from country-side where still that tradition is strong.

Re: Easter
So let me get this right - boys symbolically whip young girls to celebrate the arrival of spring, and this is considered acceptable? Interesting. What do the girls make of it all?

Re: Easter
The girls do not like it of coarse but they would be glad to have the same chance to whip boys also .
