Photoshop water filter?
Is there anyway to clean-up the dirty water that this dog is in?

Thanks,

John

Well here's a quick attempt. I just selected the water with the magic wand tool and used a hue/saturation layer set to colorize to match the plastic of the pool.

Nice job, Brian. Of course, with the Color Replacement Tool in CS, you needn't have bothered to make the selection - you could just paint over it with blue.

I just used the Brush tool set to "color" mode with a nice lightish blue then lightened the image a little to show the sparkles on the water a little more... a 2 minute job, just the kind I like

Nothing in photoshop takes me two minutes, I couldn't even work out the right tool in two minutes, if it entails any kind of masking it's two hours and as for the 'tool that I would rather not talk about'....well....that runs into days...ok, so I bought the book in mid July and I still haven't quite cut out the mug, it's just a few weeks, who's counting?...<sigh>
