I had decided to sit this one out since mine doesn't even hold a candle (groan) to the submissions this week (great one Pierre) however after experiencing agonizing withdrawal symptoms...here is mine. ![]() |

Maybe it's not such a great idea to allude to the mythical platform, it might attract an odd crowd ![]() |

Re: Contest 102: Platform nine and three quarters
I dont mind at all Eyal. After all it is Steve's face... ![]() Thanks for the compliments everybody! ![]() Marty: For the archway: Bottom part is a vertical mirror, and some use of the clone tool o change the bricks so it doesn't show too much. Upper part is coming for brick on the left side that I piled on top of each other and then "free transformed" like the bus example in the book. Some burning and that's it. _________________ |

Hi everybody, this is my first attempt at a Friday challenge. I've spent more time trying to think of an idea than I have Photoshopping! Great lightning effects Michael, Storm. Wayne ![]() |

Thanks Wayne, but I really don't deserve the credit for the creation of the vortex - I found an existing one and adapted it. I think your pic deserves greater praise. Interesting to see a number of very different interpretations of this one especially Tom's (wish I had an imagination like yours mate!) ![]() _________________ A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts |

Re: Contest 102: Platform nine and three quarters
some terrific entries this week. Love them all. Not sure if I'll have time to participate again this week. I'm floundering. We had a power failure for the afternoon and my big plans went down the tubes. I have graduation pictures to work on and they haven't been done yet either! ![]() _________________ Pauline |
