Loyd two boys watching TV--very well done! David wow "War of the Worlds" type effect here--the potential to develop this theme is very tempting, but I'm a gonna at the moment. ![]() Dennis, Your entry (in my opinion) is the very best so far. it's fantastic: I love it: it delivers! ![]() |

http://vimeo.com/870158086 Wonderful entries this week. Loyd, I could be wrong but I think there's a golden opportunity here to make the moose shine. Let's see his prowess when he's up against the gorilla and or the dragon ![]() _________________ Wicked Witch of the West: I'm melting! I'm melting! |

The one with the smoke and the moon, David is very powerful. I love it. _________________ Dorothy: "there's no place like home!" |

Re: Challenge 974: Heavy metal
This is terrific Dennis. I think it's a teeny bit of a shame that you have applied the same colouring and effects to both dragon and sky. The sky tends to dominate him. I love to see him 'pop' a little bit more. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Thank you. The bottom half is actually a shuttle take off at Cape Canaveral. ![]() I love way you have played on "Royal Dragon", that a real leap of imagination! _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: Challenge 974: Heavy metal
Thank you, Michael and David. The HD version is very pleasing. Unfortunately, with the lower dpi, the definition and clarity is lost. Hope you recover soon Michael. Sorry but your flu gave me the idea for this image. ![]() _________________ The grass is greener on the other side of the fence because there is more $hit there. |

Re: Challenge 974: Heavy metal
This is so simple and so good! The re-arrangement of the steel gorilla is beautifully done. I tried without success. The idea of doing this as the view from the cockpit is just spot on. And the rippling through the canopy a perfect touch. I find this really satisfying. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Oh wow! Lots of flames an' orange this week! Great volcanic environment you've created Frank.
