here we go then ...... despite the fact that he had to get the regimental mascot back by five the Captain had to admit that his attempt to bring back the fun she’d had in years gone by was not working and.............. (wait for it....…..) she was still not amoosed (groan)

Speaking of "hot cakes": Very few city slickers know that shortly after the "birth" of a cow pattie it will retain the pattern of its producer. This natural phenomenon only last for a few minutes, after which the pattern quickly fades.  |

Char... when the manufacture recommends using a hot iron... what else could they possibly mean??? Eggbox...
