Challenge 896: Gordon on the water
Back in July 2020 GKB sent me a photograph of a charmingly dilapidated boat. Then, in November 2021, he sent me this bridge.

I think the two should be combined, don’t you? Whatever trolls you care to position under the bridge, or gatekeepers above it, are entirely up to you.

High res are here and here.

Hope I may be able to join in late next week. This is interesting because the two perspectives are very different.

Time for a capsize perhaps?

Lovely Lloyd.

I've got to drop and run. Steve's already jinxed me with past interesting challenges that I am still busy with. Take care all.

This doesn't work quite as well as I envisioned but you get the idea...

Nice entries so far - special like the aquarium and Michaels rebuild.

That's really nice Frank, great idea.

That bridge also seems to be calling for a Gnome... might happen.

Well I never! What an idea!

I have to confess I had difficulty getting to grips with this one. The very different perspectives really stumped me at first. I am afraid, Gordon, you were the cause of a few muttered epithets to begin with.

So just silliness this week.

[/quoted]

Those epithets can’t be as bad as what I was muttering
But I am almost finished my piece.

Frank, the scene is stunning. Michael, the fairy god mother has excelled herself
The aquarium could be used as a screen saver, Loyd. The gentle movement is soothing.
Looks like the gnomes have found their home

Thank you Gordon. Where is that bridge? It's truly magical.

Frank, that's very good, and very atmospheric...sort of place "Vlad the Impaler" would reside (and you know who I mean )

David, that is very good: I love that "cute" scenario

Anna, what an "endearing" cute video

Hi Anna
The bridge is in a part of Sheffield Park Gardens, a National Trust property, about 30 minutes drive north of my village in Sussex. Also nearby is The Bluebell Line one of our wonderful preserved steam railways.

Loving the fantasy images by Frank and Anna as well as Davids gnomes - I think we all need a bit of magic in our lives at the moment - hoping for Michaels fairy grandmother to sort things out
