Wow! Amazing works everyone! Outstanding montage Dalton!

With everybody bringing such skill to the table... makes me want to spend more time on mine! And that certainly isn't a bad thing!

Re: Contest 86: Elvis spotting
Alright, my revision...still not how I'd like it, but in due time I'll be able to make it happen. Would like to have portreyed the guy as a hobo with his tent and campfire behind him, standing on the cliff inheriting Elvis's gift... but this is as far as I could get. Had some trouble with the clouds.

Elvis, the omnipresent man. He's casting shadow everywhere. You even find him in the pictures in the test-yourself-section on the CD

Elvis and gators go together like bacon and peanut butter.

Cant quite get the colour matching right here, any tips?

It didn't matter how many times she told him, he just wouldn't wear the hat!

And she must have seen at least four other people

Here is my attempt, with your low res version. Used the Dodge tool to adjust the shades of the face, the color replacement tool to give the reddish skin tone, scaled the head down a hair (!) and removed the highlite on the hair. The key is really to observe the other faces in the picture and figure out the light direction. All have reddish skin, and no direct highlite in the hair (or anywhere for that matter).

Hope it helps! I really like the idea!

Here's a fat Elvis and a transgender Elvis. The fat Elvis reminds me a little of John Belushi.

Some terrific entries this week! jwhite, yours really had me laughing. I have not had a chance to do one this week.
Elvis used to live down the road from us though. In this dumpy little run down house. He would hang his one white sequened outfit on his trellis in the front yard to air out after a performance! Sadly I never took a picture of this. He was the fat older Elvis. Actually saw him perform once and he wasn't too bad. Wonder where he is now?

Re: Contest 86: Elvis spotting
Thanks for the tips Pierre, i did try to get a redder face, but only tried using curves and colour balance, never even thought of trying the colour replacement and dodge, the picture you produced is exactly what i was looking for when i started. Once again many thanks.

I know this is over the 2 pic limit... but I just heard that Garth Brooks will soon be overtaking Elvis in record sales in America so I thought It's only fair for them to meet!

If that was me, I'd have cloned out two of the Queen's fingers. I think I have a mental age of 12
