Challenge 1034: My new cat
My new cat Mimi has been with us for nearly four months now. When she was a kitten she discovered how to perch on the top of our (rather high) bed head, from which she'd pounce onto our chests during the night. She's now rather larger (and heavier), and she's still doing it.

Here she is lounging pre-pounce. How might she be dissuaded from inflicting further physical damage?

High res is here.

Any cat owner will tell you that you just have to move over.
The pecking order in my house is:
1. Evie the pussycat
2. Sylvia
3. Rags
4. Me

Now I have to work out how to avoid cutting her out.

Steve and Carol prepare for bed.

Much more work in this than might appear. Had to put it together from a whole heap of different stuff.

I'm not going to try an entry from this because it would be too close to copying Loyd's lovely simple chuckle. But I did discover this which you could maybe adapt for bedroom use.

Amazingly in the early twentieth century the same thing existed for babies!

'Pologies Steve for the diversion.

Steve and Carol prepare for bed. Part II: Desperate measures.

Lots more 'hidden' work.

They surely do. I was going down the route of carrot and stick then found these on-line. Fun for the owner but not so much for the cat I would think.
