Re: Contest 88: Piccadilly Circus
Raffy isn't the only one that's had a busy week. There have been quite a few additions since I last looked.

DaltonX, thank you for your comments on my entry. I appreciate them. Your's was definitely a cloning marathon! You certainly threw yourself into it. In fact, I see you're still hanging out at The GAP. Great job!

I have a question about that bollard in the foreground. Is it lighted? I see a couple of entries that lit it up. I was curious about that and looked up actual night shots of the scene and I didn't see it. Anyone?

I think I got so engrossed with the detail that I missed part of the big picture. When I went back and looked at the entries, I noticed that in the windows above the Boots shop there are strong reflections of the daylight scene outside. Once I saw that, my entry bothered me. I'm sure Steve would notice those reflections! I wasn't sure whether to fake an interior view or not. I worked up an alternate with the "lights off" with "reflections" of lighted buildings across the intersection. Perhaps Steve could comment on what he would do.

Well here's my entry. No creative sign changing here and I have a feeling my moon is too big, but I was getting frustrated with the lighting so here it is!!

Pierre. I try not to look at the challenges until I have done my own. That way you don't have to worry about seeing your idea already done!

Good one,Pauline!I like the unlit letters in the sign-cool!

Re: Contest 88: Piccadilly Circus
Glen, those are not rustlers. Actually they are members of the Doc Holiday Gang pictured immediately after the shootout at the OK Coral between Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp. Wyatt Earp was the sheriff. Doc Holiday was the bad guy as well as being a dentist (historical fact) which is why so many dentists nowadays are viewed as the bad guys.

After a one busy week lapse I'm back again. Even though this is a busy week, too, PS withdrawal symptoms are hard to fight and here's my attempt at the challenge.
