					Contest 111: Snail mail
It was raining in London this morning, and when I opened my front door I spotted this slimy critter crawling towards my letterbox (what do you call those things? mailboxes? mail slots?). Couldn't help but wonder how it got there, and where it thought it was heading. Can you help find a better location for a confused gastropod? High res is here - and you'll be glad to see I've cut out the background for you. ![]() |

This is a piece of wishful thinking - I've been lumbered with the school pet (giant african) snail over the long holidays and will be pleased when I can sit down to the table free from the scrutiny of those beady little eyes... ![]() _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

Now its gone a bit pixellated - any advice on how to keep file sizes small whilst maintaining detail and physical dimensions would be much appreciated. I saved the second one as a small file - it is 18 x 22cm and 72dpi The first was much physically smaller (about 8cm wide?) but probably saved as a medium or large file Its all very confusing. _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

Nice job on the snails. You all are no slugs. Sorry that mine is not so great. I have had some unfortunate distractions lately. ![]() |

These are all so ceative! Wish there were more time to comment individually about them all. anyway, I enjoyed seeing the different ideas. I have placed my snails inschool, learning to be better snails. I know I will have no more time this week and so have to quit now Otherwise, I would continue having fun filling this up with more silly stuff .![]() |
