Re: Contest 80: Bye bye, beautiful bus
Aha it would seem I even fooled the expert *does happy dance* I only cut out a small section of the fence perhaps 5 or 6 railings the rest was cloned using the Vanishing Point filter however for some reason I've not been able to figure is that even though I created a new layer to clone the fence to above the original fence section the VP filter decided to add the cloned parts with a white background of which I had to employ the Background Eraser tool to eliminate and while this worked to a degree at the nearest edge as the perspective brought the fences closer together at the furthest edge the Background Eraser was erasing more than just the white background, unable to differentiate between the fence and the background, which is why I decided to stick two tree directly behind the plinth to hide the obvious rubbish effect of having to erase the white background. Any ideas where I went wrong? _________________ mad as a badger and twice as furry |

Thanks for the feedback Steve, as for the deleted entry? ... You did say that you were getting concerned about your bandwidth at one point so, with the increasing number of entries, I thought I'd do my bit for conservation |
